Anonymous Movie Story Line:- We feed on what is given to us by historians. Everything we know about history has been written a long while ago and can possibly be just a lie everyone is living, as only the ones who bear witness to the historical events know the real truth. Anonymous is a picture, which addresses one such possibility. The person whose identity is under question is the one whose work we all have grown up reading. And he is none other than the maverick dramatist and writer, William Shakespeare. Anonymous takes viewers back to the age, where the topic of Queen Elizabeth I’s succession was occupying everybody’s mind. Tudors and Cecils were divided in their opinions regarding the one they will be bowing to in the near future. Essex Rebillion led to thickening of the mist of confusions. Set in such testing times, the movie depicts what Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford did to clear the air. His depiction as the secret lover of Queen Elizabeth easily catches viewers’ attention. Anonymous takes into consideration the possibility of Edward de Vere being the brain behind all the world renowned works, which are considered as the brainchildren of William Shakespeare. Was Edward pushed in the darkness for being the receiver of queen’s adulations, or there was something else going on in the corridors of the royal palace? Anonymous Movie Review:-With high hopes and expectations, as me and my friends entered the theater to watch the movie,we were glad that we got the ticket in-spite of being house-full.. and believe me that was a mistake.. in the first fifteen minutes only the film starts irritating you and you will wish to go out of the hall. with a bunchful of overacting by Gravelle and Redgrave, the film irritates you even further.. don't know what the director Roland Emmerich (2012, 10,000 BC, Godzilla - with mathew broderick) wanted to show in this film as he completely failed to connect to the audiences.. he has not even being successful in entertaining in even one of the scene of the movie.. the movie gets stuck,and starts getting on to your head.. there is nothing much to be said about the movie as it is a complete disaster.. My suggestion... don't go to watch this film,rather enjoy India Australia stunning series sitting at home,and watch Indians doing their best at the commonwealth games which is being conducted so beautifully in Delhi this time of year!
