Red State Movie Story Line:- Red State is a brilliant take on the horror and thriller genre as it brings out a whole new paradigm of thrill. The movie revolves around three teenagers who are always keen to surf the internet. The trio, living in Middle America, is always browsing and one day they come across an online advertisement, posted by a lady that lures them to the dark underworld of online sex. The boys fall for the temptation and go on to meet the old lady. They fall in a trap by accepting the invitation and land up in a forest that brims with unexpected, unimaginable horrors. The boys end up with a hardcore fundamentalist who turns their lives into a living nightmare. The motive is not what they had expected and fallen for. Their fantasy ride brings them to face to face with a brutal, malicious fundamentalist force, with an agenda that is a complete contrast from what the guys have ever imagined. The forces of evil are made all the more sinister with a motive that brings them to reconsider their moves and decision. This movie scores a point with its edgy, thrilling plot that serves a moral purpose, too.

Red State Movie Review:- Great Cast, Weak A&& story. A lot of gimmicky red meat, heart string pulling, morality play. I would expect a whole lot more from almost any other director except Kevin Smith. He manages to take a great cast with a really good potential story, and turn it into a typical Kevin Smith schmaltzy pile of nonsensical, who is the worst amongst us thought experiment. I bet he thought he was being profound. The story degenerates into a shoot em up dark comedy of religious nonsense, government conspiracy, comic book logic stupidity. I hope Kevin Smith stops making movies if this is the best effort he can come up with. He should be charged with Crimes against Art for forcing these great actors to push through the mostly nonsensical things he did to this script.
